Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled the tracklist for her sixth studio album, ‘Short N’ Sweet’, which is set for release on August 23rd by Island Records. The announcement comes after Carpenter supported Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour and released two hit singles: ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’. Fans can now pre-order the album before its release date and pre-save it to their preferred music streaming services.
In other news, Carpenter revealed the North American dates for her upcoming ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour, set to take place later this year. Kicking off on September 23rd at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, Carpenter will perform at venues in major cities such as Toronto, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando, Austin, Dallas, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco, among others.
Despite much anticipation for the album’s release, Carpenter has remained tight-lipped about the album’s theme or production style. However, with hit singles already under her belt, fans are eagerly waiting for the singer to showcase new material and continue to make waves in the pop music scene.
It’s worth mentioning that Carpenter hasn’t been shy when it comes to collaborating or experimenting with new music styles. She gave ‘Nonsense’ a special Saltburn-themed outro at Coachella and delighted fans by freestyling on stage with cheeky lyrics such as “Made his knees so weak, he had to spread mine / He’s drinking my bath water like it’s red wine / Coachella, see you back here when I headline”.
With such exciting developments in her music career, Sabrina Carpenter is definitely one artist to watch out for as we head into the latter half of 2021
