July’s lineup for PS Plus promises to end the first half of the year with a bang. With four titles on offer for subscribers, there is something for everyone: from classic sports simulations and action-packed shooters to strategic card games and social deduction games. But before diving headfirst into the new releases, let’s take a quick look back at the previous few months. Though the service saw a few less than stellar releases earlier in the year, it seems things are turning around.
So, what can we expect from July? The latest edition of NHL 24 will make its debut on the service, promising a more realistic and intense hockey experience than ever before. Fans of the Borderlands franchise have a new installment to look forward to with Borderlands 3. And gamers who enjoy deduction games can team up with friends to survive among imposters in the popular title, Among Us. But that’s not all: the game’s premiums tiers offer titles like Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Remake, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition.
As usual, the titles will be available in waves throughout the month, with Essential titles available starting on July 2nd, while Premium members get access to all their titles starting July 10th. This month also marks the departure of some current offerings for the service, like SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Streets of Rage 4, and AEW Fight Forever, among others.
Looking forward, based on past choices, we predict that Two Point Campus will grace the lineup and hopefully, we’ll finally see the latest Marvel game, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, make its PS Plus debut. If you’re looking for something to play while you wait for the next set of titles, you can always take a look at last month’s PS Plus games, including titles like World Rally Championship 10, Werewolves Within, OlliOlli World, and more
