Clairo plays new song ‘Pier 4’ at Palestine benefit show in London

Clairo showcased a new and unreleased song called ‘Pier 4’ during her performance at Mustafa’s London Edition of Artists For Aid Benefit Concert. The singer performed an entirely acoustic set with an acoustic guitar and opened with a cover of Judee Sill’s track ‘My Man On Love.’ During her set, Clairo introduced ‘Pier 4,’ which included backing vocals by Daniel Caesar and Jake Passermore from the band SCORS. The song will be included in Clairo’s anticipated studio album ‘Charm.’

The benefit concert aimed to support humanitarian efforts in Sudan and Palestine and featured several other artists such as Blood Orange, Nicolás Jaar, Yasiin Bey, Ramy Youssef, and Bint Mbareh. Clairo’s third studio album, ‘Charm,’ is set to release on July 12 and can be streamed on her official website.

Clairo’s previous album from 2021,’ Sling,’ received positive reviews, and NME praised the singer for crafting “gorgeous jewels that help you make sense of your own world, one step at a time.” Recently, Clairo released a demo called ‘Lavender’ via Bandcamp to support Doctors Without Borders.

Clairo has been an active musician, having participated in the ‘Artist For Aid’ concert in New Jersey to raise funds for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan and Gaza. Additionally, in a surprise performance, she appeared at Ryan Beatty’s NYC show at Bowery Ballroom and sang an intimate version of her single ‘Sexy To Someone’ alongside Beatty’s band
