During a rehearsal for their upcoming performance for King Charles III and Queen Camilla, pupils from Ysgol Treganna in Cardiff were surprised when new Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer stopped by to listen. The rehearsal was taking place in the Senedd, which Sir Keir was touring with First Minister Vaughan Gething when he heard the students practising. Sir Keir took the time to tell the students how fantastic they were doing, which undoubtedly boosted their spirits.
The performance is part of the 25th-anniversary celebrations being held at the Senedd, and chosen pupils from Ysgol Treganna were given the honor of performing for royalty. This opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the students, and their hard work paid off with a visit from the Prime Minister. The excitement was palpable, and the students were thrilled to have Sir Keir listen to their rehearsal and deliver kind words of encouragement.
