During the Waterbomb Festival 2024 in Seoul, TWICE’s Nayeon had a special surprise for her fans. While performing on Day 3 of the annual festival, she brought out KISS OF LIFE member Julie to perform their collaboration ‘Magic’ live for the first time. The song was first released last month as part of Nayeon’s second solo mini-album ‘NA’. For the track, Nayeon said Julie was the first rapper she thought of after discussing who to feature on the song with her agency.
Nayeon sings the chorus while Julie raps in the verses. The two ended their performance with a hug. ‘Magic’ wasn’t the only collaboration for Nayeon on the album. It also included collaborations with AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk and singer-songwriter Sam Kim. ‘NA’ came two years after her debut mini-album ‘Im Nayeon’, which made her the first member of TWICE to go solo.
Meanwhile, KISS OF LIFE just made a comeback with their single album ‘Sticky’, which includes the title track and one B-side, ‘Te Quiero’. Earlier this year, the girl group dropped the single album ‘Midas Touch’, which featured the B-side ‘Nothing’. ‘Nothing’ was named one of NME’s best K-pop songs of 2024 so far.
In other K-pop news, EVERGLOW has announced new dates for their upcoming 2024 ‘Pulse and Heart’ tour in the Americas. The tour will start this September in Santiago, Chile before stops in the US, Mexico, and Brazil
