Jade Thirlwall, a member of the girl group Little Mix, has confirmed that she appeared in Fontaine D.C.’s new song video named ‘Starburster.’ During an Instagram post over the weekend, Thirlwall posted a photo of herself wearing a t-shirt that read “I’m in a Fontaines D.C. video”. Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten shared a screenshot of the Instagram story on his own page, with the caption “ice.”
Thirlwall had previously hinted at her appearance in the video in a BTS photo from her own upcoming single video. The Fontaines D.C. video features themes of angels, similar to the theme in Thirlwall’s forthcoming solo single, and a character seen in a behind-the-scenes shot from her video.
Fontaines D.C. attended Glastonbury 2024, where they headlined the Park Stage. During an interview with NME, the band discussed their forthcoming album, ‘Romance,’ and upcoming singles, ‘Starburster’ and ‘Favourite.’ They talked about the meaning of the songs and what they are trying to convey through their music.
At the festival, Chatten joined Kneecap on stage for a performance of ‘Better Way To Live’ during the hip-hop trio’s 1.30 am set on the newly introduced Peace Stage.
