Pale Waves announce 2024 UK headline tour

UK-based indie pop band, Pale Waves, has announced a twelve-date UK tour scheduled for October this year. This tour comes in support of their fourth album ‘Smitten’, due for release on September 20th through Dirty Hit. The band will commence the tour on October 3rd at The Waterfront in Norwich, and conclude on October 17th with a show at Here at Outernet in London.

Pale Waves has also shared a slew of tour dates, including stops in Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Brighton, Bristol, Sheffield, Dundee, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Birmingham. Tickets for the tour will be available for purchase on Friday, July 5th, through Ticketmaster. Alternatively, fans who pre-ordered the upcoming album before 3 pm BST on July 2nd can access a presale while O2 Priority customers.

The upcoming album was written over two years, between the UK and the US, and features Pale Waves reflecting on their northern roots. The album’s lead single, “Perfume,” was released last month and gained much attention.

Frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie stated that with ‘Smitten’, she summarized feelings she had for others at a certain point, “When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger. So I feel like ‘Smitten’ really summarised perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.” Tthe band revealed last November that they were working on the album, which they called their “best yet.”
