The sample comes from Jackson’s “Funny How Time Flies (When You’re Having Fun),” and replaces Cardi’s traditional energetic rapping with more subdued singing. The post has since expired from Cardi’s story, but it has been recorded and is now circulating online.
There is no official announcement yet for Cardi B’s upcoming sophomore album, which is tentatively called “CB2.” Despite this, Cardi has made several hints over the past few months that she has been working diligently on the record, with the expectation to release it at some point this year. Since releasing her debut album, Cardi has engaged in a series of single releases, including “Please Me,” which she sang with Bruno Mars, “Up” from 2021, and “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
