The Streets took to the stage at Glastonbury 2024, and in a moment of solidarity with fellow Birmingham band Black Sabbath, incorporated the classic ‘Iron Man’ riff into their set. The crowd enthusiastically responded as Mike Skinner and company blended in lyrics from their own hit ‘Has It Come to This’. Skinner continued to interact with the audience throughout the performance, which culminated in a lively version of ‘Fit But You Know It’. Fans took to social media afterwards to declare the set a highlight of the weekend.

Among those to voice their approval was Master Peace, who had previously collaborated with The Streets on ‘Wrong Answers Only’. “Played Glastonbury yesterday, with The Streets, what a time to be alive…” he tweeted. Fans meanwhile praised the band for their “utter chaos, utter class” performance.

The full set list read: ‘Turn The Page’, ‘Who’s Got the Bag’, ‘Let’s Push Things Forward’, ‘Don’t Mug Yourself’, ‘Could Well Be In’, ‘Has It Come to This?’, ‘I Wish You Loved You as Much as You Love Him’, ‘Wrong Answers Only (with Master Peace)’, ‘On the Edge of a Cliff’, ‘Weak Become Heroes’, ‘Mike (Desert Island Duvet)’, ‘Fit But You Know It’, ‘Dry Your Eyes’, ‘Blinded by the Lights’, and ‘Take Me as I Am’.

The Streets recently released their introspective new single ‘End Of The Queue’, as part of their ‘Fabric Presents…’ mix. The 31-track compilation features collaborations with the likes of Fred Again and Dermot Kennedy and was a gesture of acknowledgement to one of London’s most iconic clubs on the occasion of its 25th anniversary
