Last night, Justice brought the West Holts tent to a close with a magnificent set at Glastonbury. The French electronic music duo, who last played the festival back in 2017, performed their latest album, Hyperdrama, including collaborations with Tame Impala, along with a mix of their early hits like ‘Genesis’ & ‘D.A.N.C.E.’ from their self-titled album in 2007.
The performance was described as spectacular, thanks in part to their invigorating basslines and electrifying light show. To wrap up their hour-long set, Justice ended the night by playing Neverender. The duo made a dramatic exit by walking into the crowd, even standing on the shoulders of some festival-goers to raucous applause.
The group’s Glastonbury 2024 setlist was as follows: ‘Genesis,’ ‘Phantom,’ ‘Phantom Pt. II (Soulwax Remix),’ ‘Generator,’ ‘Love S.O.S.’, ‘Alakazam!,’ ‘Mannequin Love,’ ‘We Are Your Friends,’ ‘TTHHEE PPAARRTTYY,’ ‘One Night/All Night,’ ‘D.A.N.C.E.,’ ‘Safe and Sound,’ ‘Neverender’ (all mixed in together); ‘Canon,’ ‘Neverender,’ ‘Incognito,’ ‘Stress,’ ‘Waters of Nazareth’ and ‘Afterimage’ (all mixed in together); ‘Chorus (WWW)’ and ‘Audio, Video, Disco (WWW).’
Fans of Gossip responded positively to the band’s call down of the US government during their set. Meanwhile, Camila Cabello delivered a chaotic performance, whilst SZA had an issue with technical difficulties during her headlining set.
Paloma Faith performed with a tribute to Amy Winehouse by covering ‘Back To Black,’ and Little Simz gave a performance that confirmed her as a potential candidate for a future headline slot. Coldplay’s electric headline set received a glowing four-star review from NME critics
