Armed robbers, wearing black balaclavas, targeted two jewellery and watch stores in the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds. The attack on the Beaverbrooks and Tag Heuer stores was carried out by the masked gang on Wednesday evening. They carried axes and a circular saw as they raided the establishments and fled the scene before the shops were due to close. The stores have temporarily been closed as the investigation continues.
It remains unclear whether anyone was hurt in the attack. West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for more information.
