London Grammar announced their new single, “Into Gold,” and their upcoming 2024 European arena tour. The single features a soft pulsing beat with lead singer Hannah Reid’s vocals dominating the verses. Reid described the song as hypnotic and shares themes of mourning loss and overcoming heartbreaks. This marks the third single from the band’s forthcoming album, “The Greatest Love,” which is set to release on September 13th.
Reid has also shared that with this album, they might be touching on topics that are sad, but they intend to tell the story in a more celebratory way. “Into Gold” features Reid’s signature emotive vocals, and the song was carved up and dressed beautifully by Dan and Dot.
This album is the fourth studio album by the British trio, following the success of their critically acclaimed “Californian Soil,” which earned them a BRIT nomination in 2021. According to the band’s press release, “The Greatest Love” will see the band celebrate a new chapter as they leave their past behind and hone in on a newfound sense of freedom.
The band will hit the Glastonbury Park Stage on June 30th and have announced a handful of European tour dates that will kick off later this year. They will headline the Zenith in Paris, the Forest National in Brussels, and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, followed by shows in Frankfurt and Berlin
