Kendrick Lamar performed his Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’ multiple times at his Juneteenth event, “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends”, held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Lamar’s goal was to showcase West Coast talent, and he brought out more than 20 artists, including Schoolboy Q, Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy, and Ty Dolla $ign. The event marked the live debut of the ‘Not Like Us’ diss track, and Lamar also performed his other diss track, ‘Euphoria,’ before the audience began chanting “OV-hoe.”
Lamar continued his feud with Drake by performing ‘Not Like Us’ five times and incorporating a new lyric into ‘Euphoria.’ He added the line, “Give me Tupac’s ring back and I might give you a little respect,” which refers to Tupac Shakur’s ring, purchased by Drake. Dr. Dre also joined in on the feud by performing ‘Still D.R.E.’ and ‘California Love’ and helping Lamar on the first of ‘Not Like Us’ with the line “I see dead people,” according to Vulture.
During the event, Lamar was also heard rapping his verse to Future and Metro Boomin’s diss track towards Drake, ‘Like That.’ Last month, Drake deleted his diss track ‘The Heart Part 6’ from his Instagram, leading some to believe he wanted to end the rap beef. However, Lamar’s recent performance shows that the feud between the two rappers is still ongoing.
