Tyler, The Creator has regretfully cancelled his performances at both Lollapalooza and Outside Lands music festivals. In light of his absence from the events, organisers have announced the addition of hip-hop artists Megan Thee Stallion and Sabrina Carpenter to the line-ups, respectively.
In a statement posted to his official Twitter account, Tyler shared his disappointment in letting down fans who were excited to see him perform. “I made a commitment that I can no longer keep,” he explained. “That is not sexy at all. Please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person.”
Lollapalooza officials confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion will fill Tyler’s slot as the festival’s headliner on Thursday, August 1, while Outside Lands announced Carpenter as his replacement for the event’s Lands End stage on Saturday, August 10.
