Rosé, a member of the K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK, has hinted that she will release new music in the near future following the announcement of her record deal. She recently addressed her new deal with South Korean record label The Black Label on Instagram. She apologised for the long wait on updates about her solo career and indicated that some fans have been very eager to hear from her for some time.
BLACKPINK’s members decided not to renew their individual contracts with YG Entertainment, and her fellow bandmates have all launched their own companies. With her new deal, Rosé became the final member of the group to set a path for her solo career. “I personally didn’t want to speak or announce anything before I had everything aligned for my music to be out,” explained the singer. “As you all know, I have come from a place where more things have been done for me over doing things on my own. So, naturally, I need time to learn, understand, doubt and trust myself and others.”
Although she has not revealed any specific details about her upcoming music, she has confirmed that she has been working in and out of the studio almost every day from the end of 2023 and all throughout 2024. “To me, there is nothing more important than delivering to you what I absolutely love, which is music,” Rosé added. “This has been a year of drawing up a map and navigating to where I want to be and what I want to be doing going forward. It has been months of learning how to be an independent person for myself.”
Earlier this year, prior to her signing with The Black Label, she hinted about the new song ‘vampirehollie’ on Instagram, stating that she had been working hard on some things that she couldn’t wait for her fans to hear. While she has yet to reveal a release date or any other information about her upcoming music, she has promised some other very exciting announcements in the not-too-distant future. Her fans are eagerly anticipating her solo career and new music
