The album will include unheard recordings and brand-new songs from the Americana singer-songwriter, who died at 38 in 2020 due to an accidental fentanyl overdose. Earle’s autopsy confirmed that he had traces of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol in his system.
The forthcoming album is set to release on August 9 and is the first posthumous collection of Earle’s music. The singer had released his previous two albums, 2019’s ‘The Saint Of Lost Causes’, and 2017’s ‘Kids In The Street’ with New West Records.
