STEYA announces debut EP, ‘Dopamine’

German DJ and techno producer STEYA has announced the upcoming release of her debut EP titled ‘Dopamine’ on July 12. The EP, which features five powerful tracks, has been created over the course of two years with 20 years of experience in the techno scene. The opening track ‘Dopamine’ sets the tone with its tribal beats and tempo shifts. Meanwhile, ‘Fast Life’ takes the lead with its dynamic bassline, coupled with an intriguing synth melody. ‘Things You Never Said’, the third original track, will delight techno fans, with its warm synths and rolling grooves.

The EP also includes two remixes. For the A-side, Swedish producer Hertz has reworked the title track, cranking up the energy levels. On the other side, techno legend Rolando has crafted a simmering, deep remix of ‘Things You Never Said’. As with previous IMF releases, the remixers have been paired with ‘new gen’ artists to ensure a perfect blend of freshness and experience.

In a statement, STEYA said, “It’s a big honour to release my debut EP on such an amazing label like IMF, which is very close to my heart. I poured my heart and soul into this project. It showcases the artistic direction I’ve developed over the last few years and is an important milestone in my artist journey.” Speaking about the EP, Marcel Fengler, the founder of IMF, said, “After experiencing many of her stunning DJ sets, it’s wonderful to see STEYA thriving also as a producer. What really excites me is witnessing her continuous growth, always fuelled by her deep passion for music. I’m thrilled to release STEYA’s debut EP on IMF, featuring three original dancefloor anthems and two stellar remixes by Rolando and Hertz.”

The EP has been produced by STEYA with ‘IMF’ label and will be available from July 12. Fans can listen to previews of the EP on the label’s official website
