Police in Coventry are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a 12-year-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run accident. The incident happened on Radford Road on Friday around 16:30 BST. According to Sgt Rich Evans of West Midlands Police, “We would appeal to the driver or for any of the passengers who were in the vehicle to do the right thing and to contact us.” Evans also added, “A 12-year-old boy has tragically lost his life and we need you to come forward and hand yourselves in.”

The police said they were providing support to the boy’s family, and officers are working to trace the suspects in the hit-and-run crash.
