Zanzibar’s Soundscapes festival set to make its return to Bwejuu Beach this weekend

Soundscapes Festival is returning for its fourth year on Bwejuu Beach in Zanzibar. Since its debut in 2022, the boutique festival will span four days from 15th until 19th June 2019. Attendees will dance to the tunes of global DJs on the private beach of the 100-year-old coconut tree plantation, with a view of the Indian Ocean.

Famous artists will perform day and night across two stages, the main stage and the newly renovated Oasis stage. The festival has been billed as “Wings of Change” to promise growth and transformation in the future. The co-founders of Soundscapes Festival purchased the land where the festival is held last year to ensure its continuity and well-being.

Sole DXB will partner with Soundscapes to introduce the Sole Sound System to the festival, pushing the boundaries of what’s sonically possible in this field. Ahmed Hameed, the co-founder of Soundscapes, said, “We are thrilled to join forces with Sole DXB to introduce the Sole Sound System to Soundscapes, becoming the first electronic music festival to push the boundaries of what’s possible sonically.”

Final tickets are available to purchase on the Soundscapes website
