Swedish indie rock band Shout Out Louds have announced plans to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Howl Howl Gaff Gaff’ with a special concert in London. The band issued the record globally in 2005, which included the tracks ‘Please Please Please’, ‘Very Loud’ and ‘The Comeback’. They are now set to perform the album in its entirety at The Dome in Tufnell Park in London on November 16th. Tickets for the show will go on sale on June 12th on Ticketmaster UK.
The band’s official statement reads: “20 years ago, our debut album ‘Howl Howl Gaff Gaff’ took us on a journey all over the world. We played the same songs every night for about four years, and some of those songs are still on every one of our set lists. For us, performing a song live causes it to change over time. In the setting of a concert, through the human element of an audience, many of our songs have found their truest form, and we are sometimes taken by surprise when we go back to the recordings.”
Ahead of the show, the band has also reworked several tracks from the album for an EP titled ‘Howl Howl Gaff Gaff Revisited’ which was released in April. Their other studio albums include ‘Our Ill Wills’ (2007), ‘Work’ (2010), ‘Optica’ (2013), ‘Ease My Mind’ (2017) and ‘House’ (2022).
Fans of the indie rockers will have the chance to purchase tickets to the 20th-anniversary performance starting June 12th. The concert will take place at The Dome in Tufnell Park, north London on Saturday, November 16th
