Prospect, a new 25,000 sq ft warehouse venue, is due to open this summer in Bristol’s St. Philips neighborhood. The newly renovated cultural space will take over the same venue as Bristol’s former Propyard, which had a capacity of 2,000 and became uncertain earlier this year when its website went down and was labeled as permanently closed on Google.

Prospect will be run by the team behind ION, Love Supreme, and Junction 2, and promises to showcase 20 years of experience in music and creative pursuits from London-based promoter AMAAD. Additionally, local club promoters like The Blast, Dance Corp, and Team Love will provide support.

The venue plans to host concerts, stand-up comedy, sports events, pop-up food and drinks, and fashion markets. It is expected to open at 45 Feeder Road in the upcoming months.

Prospect is the most recent addition to Bristol’s musical scene, which houses experimental, underground, and established musicians, venues, and collectives. Bristol’s music scene has evolved into an inclusive and diverse space over the past few years and hosts annual events such as Bristol Pride and Simple Things Festival
