Father’s Day will be celebrated in Liverpool at Anfield Crematorium. A commemorative service and period of reflection will be held on Sunday, June 16, between noon and 2pm, with the event delivered in partnership with Good Funeral Company. The crematorium chapel will open from 11am-noon for those who would like to take a moment of reflection without attending the service. The event will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend, available to watch via watch.obitus.com, using the username yagu1990 and password 220321.

The grounds will be open as usual for visitors to pay their respects. The Book of Remembrance will also be available from 9am to 4.30pm on weekends and public holidays and from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm. The Books of Remembrance are also accessible online for both Anfield and Springwood.

Further information about Anfield Crematorium’s services can be found on the council’s website, along with other services offered by the council’s Bereavement Services Team. The gardens will open at dawn, and the Book of Remembrance will remain available until dusk. The council encourages those who have lost a father to attend the event, and they would like to make the day as open as possible to all members of Liverpool’s local community
