The lineup for Kings of Leon’s upcoming show at BST Hyde Park has been completed, with seven more support acts announced. Among them is Gary Clarke Jr, a blues artist who has worked with Foo Fighters and Alicia Keys. Also performing are Los Angeles electro-pop trio Cannons, Dublin artist Somebody’s Child, Liverpool six-piece Red Rum Club, and Keo, a four-piece alt-rock band. Rounding out the list are The Meffs, an electric punk-rock duo, singer-songwriter Nieve Ella, and guitar-pop band Daydreamers.
Kings of Leon will headline the show on June 30, joining fellow headliners Stevie Nicks and SZA. Paolo Nutini and The Vaccines are also set to perform as special guests. The show follows the band’s recent album, “Can We Please Have Fun?”, their ninth studio release. The album saw the band return to their roots and seek a more lighthearted approach to songwriting.
The show is part of a series of concerts at BST Hyde Park this summer, with acts including Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams, and Shania Twain set to perform. Kings of Leon frontman, Caleb Followill, expressed excitement for the upcoming performance, saying, “we can’t wait to get back to London and play at BST this summer. It is always a blast to play in the UK and we are ready to have some fun.”
Bookies recently announced that Kings of Leon are among the favorites to play a secret set at Glastonbury in 2024. However, for now, the band’s attention is focused on their upcoming show at BST Hyde Park, where they will take the stage alongside a diverse lineup of talented musicians
