On Friday evening, a man in his 60s passed away after a two-vehicle crash in Poyntzpass. According to reports, authorities were notified of the incident on the Newry Road at around 18:30 BST. Local police officers, along with members of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. Sadly, the driver of a grey Peugeot 207 did not survive their injuries and passed away at the location of the crash.
The authorities have been unable to provide any further information, but it is important that anyone who witnessed the incident or has any knowledge of it comes forward to the police.
