A new open-air venue is set to open in Camden this summer. Constructed by the creative minds behind Electric Ballroom, Camden Courtyard will be located on Kentish Town Road, just behind the Ballroom. It will open on the fourth of July and will be able to accommodate up to 300 people. Kate Fuller, owner of Camden Courtyard and Electric Ballroom, said the venue would offer something new for the area.
The venue will boast a high-end Martin Audio sound system and has already secured appearances from musical acts including FreeFromSleep, UKG brunch, Midnight Runners, Colorize and Ketoloco. Hungry guests can enjoy Pizza & Dumplings, while those looking for a drink can choose from a range of cocktails provided by Wray & Nephew.
The idea for the venue was born out of the observation that there are few open-air locations for drinking and dining in the area. Fuller said: “We’re working with a great selection of forward thinking promoters, DJs and food & drink brands and we can’t wait to welcome new faces and regulars alike.”
Guests can sign up for the Camden Courtyard website for a chance to win tickets to the official launch party. The venue will then be open from 4pm to 11pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 12pm to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays
