Billie Eilish recently shed tears after performing her latest album’s sixth track titled ‘The Greatest’ for the first time. On Los Angeles’ stage last week, she had the emotional experience, with a small crowd watching. Her album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ dropped last Friday, with Eilish holding an assortment of listening parties across London, Los Angeles, and New York.
In her interview with Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Eilish described the difficulties in writing and recording the album with her brother Finneas for almost two years. She reveals that it wasn’t until they worked on the first track ‘Skinny’ that something awoke in them, and they were inspired to complete the album.
‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ has received praise, with four stars from NME calling it “distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness, and experiencing the emotional thrill and catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love. In trying to write an album for herself, she’s made one that will resonate harder than anything she’s done before.”
Eilish announced a world tour for 2024 and 2025 with shows set to take place in Australia and Europe as well as in various cities across the US and the UK. Tickets are now available from various website links in the article.
As her success continues, she has further delighted her fans with a surprise extended edit of her track ‘L’Amour De Ma Vie’
