The report, produced by business leaders from companies such as Aviva, Deloitte, NatWest, the Co-op, and Unilever, claims that businesses could better support young families by investing in initiatives such as more flexible working hours and help with childcare. These changes could better support working parents. Improving early childhood education could also increase workplace productivity and reduce long-term costs such as the risk of ill-health or unemployment.

“The princess is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team,” a spokesman for Kensington Palace said. The Princess’s dedication to the Centre for Early Childhood remains strong, and the report, which calls on businesses to invest in supporting families with young children, shows the continued importance of supporting families.
