Fans of the hit period drama Bridgerton will be pleased to know that the show is returning with another batch of episodes in 2024 after a two year hiatus. Set in early 1800s London high society, the show follows the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate the ups and downs of their social status. Based on the books by Julia Quinn, the third season will adapt her fourth Regency romance novel, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.

In May 2023, a spin-off titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story was released shortly after season two. Following this, the first four episodes of season three arrived on May 16, 2024, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the final four episodes, which will be released on June 13 of the same year.

Bridgerton was renewed for a third and fourth season back in April 2021, so fans can rest assured that another batch of episodes is already in the works. Showrunner Chris Van Dusen has stated his hope to cover all eight of Julia Quinn’s books in due course, creating a franchise that can expand into multiple shows.

For the third season, the original cast members Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, and Simone Ashley all reprise their roles. However, Hannah Dodd will take over the role of Francesca Bridgerton after the original actor Ruby Stokes left the show during season two.
