Netflix’s latest miniseries, A Man In Full, starring Jeff Daniels, has come to an end, but what happens to Daniels’ character by the conclusion of the show?

The series tells the story of Charlie Croker, an Atlanta real estate tycoon, suddenly faced with bankruptcy, who works to defend his empire from those looking to capitalise on his fall from grace.

Based on the satirical novel of the same name by Tom Wolfe, A Man In Full is a six-episode miniseries that premiered on May 2 on Netflix. David E. Kelley, known for creating Big Little Lies and Ally McBeal, oversaw the adaptation.

Three episodes were directed by Regina King, who won an Oscar for her acting and also directed the 2020 film, One Night In Miami. The series features classic hits on its soundtrack, including songs from artists such as ABBA, Shania Twain, Killer Mike, and Raphael Saadiq.

As bankruptcy looms, Charlie is honoured at his former college, but his creditors intend to come calling for their $800 million. The Atlanta mayor offers to help Charlie if he will publicly disclose an allegation of sexual assault against the mayor’s political opponent. However, the accuser is a friend of Charlie’s ex-wife, Joyce. In the end, Charlie agrees to protect Joyce, further revealing his previously hidden emotional side.

Finally, Charlie confronts his creditor, Raymond, who he finds with his ex-wife Martha. When Martha calls the police, it is just Raymond and Charlie left.
