Childish Gambino’s ‘New World’ tour: dates, venues and ticket details revealed for UK, Europe and Australia

Donald Glover, better known by his stage name Childish Gambino, has announced the details of his upcoming New World Tour that will see him perform in the UK, Europe, and Australia later this year and into 2025. Alongside the announcement of the tour, Glover has released ‘Atavista’, his latest album and complete version of his 2020 record ‘3.15.20’, along with a music video for his new track ‘Little Foot Big Foot’.

The North American leg of the tour will run from August 11 to October 3, with support from Willow. The European leg will take place later in the autumn, including UK arena shows in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, and Dublin, with support from Amaarae. Tickets will go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday, May 17, and the Australian dates will follow in early 2025, with tickets on sale from Monday, May 20.

Donald has confirmed that this will be his first performance tour since he last performed in 2019. Besides releasing ‘Atavista’, a music video for ‘Little Foot Big Foot’ and the current slate of cities in his upcoming tour, Donald Glover has also provided an update on his next and final album as Childish Gambino. ‘Bando Stone & the New World’ will double as the soundtrack for his upcoming movie of the same name.

Glover shared an update via social media, “the all-new Childish Gambino album comes out in the summer”. He also teased a special vinyl release for ‘Atavista’ which will include “visuals for each song”. ‘3.15.20’ was awarded four stars by NME when it was initially released in 2020. The album showed a willingness from Glover to share a candid moment on record, which was particularly interesting given his proclivity towards keeping his private life offline. The album was well received and praised by critics and fans alike, and it remains to be seen if his next album will reach the same heights.
