Joe Biden’s campaign team has taken inspiration from Kendrick Lamar’s diss track ‘Euphoria’ to take a swipe at former US President Donald Trump. A video featuring various photos of the former president was posted on social media with Lamar’s viral song playing in the background. Text over the video reads: “It’s always been about love and hate, now let me say I’m the biggest hater. I hate the way that you walk over women’s rights, the way that you talk about immigrants. I hate the way that you dress, I hate the way that you sneak diss on truth social”.
Lamar’s six-minute-long diss track originally took aim at Drake, referring to him as a “master manipulator” and commenting on his parenting abilities. The rap duo have been engaged in a back-and-forth feud for over a decade, with Lamar dropping his fourth diss track, ‘Not Like Us’, in their latest exchange. The exchange began in March when Lamar responded to J. Cole’s comments about the “hardest MC”, stating in his ‘Like That’ verse: “Motherfuck the big three, n****, it’s just big me”. Cole later released his own diss track but removed it from streaming after widespread criticism.
Drake then released two tracks firing back, an action that landed him in hot water when he used AI to emulate Tupac Shakur’s vocals. Lamar then dropped ‘Euphoria’ and ‘6:16 in LA’, which prompted Drake to release ‘Family Matters’ just before Lamar released ‘Meet The Grahams
