Swedish singer, Loreen, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in both 2012 and 2023, has announced that she will tour the UK and Europe next year. The tour will commence in the Netherlands on February 15th and will span 20 cities before concluding in Dublin, Ireland on March 27th. Her tour will include a headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo and performances in Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, and Glasgow.
Loreen expressed her excitement for the upcoming tour saying in a press release, “Last year’s tour was one of the best times of my life…this next tour is all for you.” Tickets for the tour will be available on May 10th.
The singer will perform her new single, “Forever”, in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 11th. She will also headline Manchester Pride 2024 in August.
Last year, Loreen won the Eurovision Song Contest, representing Sweden with her song, “Tattoo.” This was her second victory after winning in 2012.
During an interview with NME, Loreen discussed her plans for new music and her thoughts on being labelled as a “spiritual pop” artist. She explained her music style saying, “It’s exactly what it is. Of course, I do spiritual pop…” adding that her song dynamics have a spiritual element. She explained how her music builds up to a point of release or “almost like trust, in a way, until you come to the point of release.” She believes there’s a purpose to why she uses certain dynamics because the build-up is spiritual
