Music star Billie Eilish has revealed two free listening parties for her new album, Hit Me Hard And Soft, in the US. The events, presented by American Express, will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on 15 May and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on 16 May. Fans can apply for up to two tickets via a link on Ticketmaster before 9am PT on 7 May. Though the parties are free, American Express cardholders will receive special perks.
The album is Eilish’s third studio album, which will be released on 17 May and is available for pre-order or pre-save. The listening parties will support the launch. Fans will be able to request tickets via the Ticketmaster link, but submission does not guarantee obtaining entry, with confirmations being sent from 10 May onwards.
Eilish, who is known for her environmentally focused work, is encouraging her fans to carpool or use public transport to connect them with the listening parties, to reduce their carbon footprint. Last year, she held an environmental summit in London. The star is working with environmental group Reverb at the shows, with $1m already donated to eco-friendly projects.
The Bad Guy singer recently announced a 2024/25 world tour called ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ to support the new album. Eilish will be joined by other singers, including Lorde and Green Day, in supporting legislation to protect gig-goers from online ticket fraud
