Last night, Tom Brady was roasted on Netflix, and during the event, he took swipes at several celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Kanye West. The roast, titled The Greatest Roast Of All-Time: Tom Brady, aired live from Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and saw the seven-time Super Bowl champion get targeted by comedians such as Kevin Hart and Nikki Glaser. Special guests, including Ben Affleck, Will Ferrell, and Kim Kardashian, were also in attendance.

Brady didn’t hold back, as he took the opportunity to make jabs at some of pop culture’s biggest names, including Kardashian herself. The reality star had been criticized for her time on stage before Brady’s roast and was met with a cold reception. Brady then joked, “I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this, but because her kids are at home with their dad.” Kardashian shares four children with her former partner, Kanye West, and she could be seen shaking her head in response.

Social media has since speculated that West might not take the joke lightly, with some predicting that it could provoke a Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar type of feud. Brady also aimed some shots at Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, who is in a high-profile relationship with Swift. “Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest. It helps when your fans are 14-year-old girls,” said Brady. He also joked about the Chiefs’ past success and referenced Swift’s world tour with the quip, “Terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.”

Swift’s involvement with Kelce helped to boost this year’s Super Bowl viewing figures, with approximately 123.4 million people in the US tuning in. The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers was the most-watched Super Bowl of all time, and the most-watched broadcast in US TV history since the 1969 moon landing
