Norwegian alt-pop singer AURORA has announced additional shows in Dublin and Edinburgh as part of her upcoming UK and European tour. AURORA is due to release her latest album, ‘What Happened To The Heart?’, in June, before commencing her tour in September. The National Stadium in Dublin will host the tour on June 26, with the Usher Hall scheduled for October 5. Fans who pre-order the new album here before 3pm UK time on May 7 will have exclusive early access to tickets.

The rest of the tour dates are planned around the continent through September and into October in Milan, Vienna, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Paris. This will be AURORA’s first full-length album release since ‘The Gods We Can Touch’ in 2022. The new album is available to pre-order through Decca Records/Glassnote/Petroleum.

AURORA recently discussed her work with Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers, revealing that she texted him one evening asking him to “puke vomit all over” one of her songs on the album. On the topic of the album’s title and themes, AURORA reflected on the heart as an ancient symbol of spirituality and “the gateway between us all.” She posed the question, “What happened to the heart?” as the most important, beautiful, and sad she’s ever wondered in her life.

AURORA’s latest tour dates come after she announced two additional performances in Dublin and Edinburgh. In an excited announcement on her Instagram page, she expressed happiness at adding the shows to the tour and a sense of belonging to the earth of those places. Fans can purchase tickets for the shows through Ticketmaster UK
