Irish rap trio KNEECAP have unveiled a new single ‘Love Making,’ featuring Nino, along with the announcement of their US tour. The garage-inspired track is “baby-making music,” celebrating a one-night stand, filled with the lyrics “local snacks and hotel sex”. Along with the new track release, “Love Making” is also part of their new album “Fine Art” set to release on June 14 via Heavenly Recordings, produced by Toddla T.
“Fine Art” features KNEECAP’s previously released singles ‘Sick In The Head’, ‘Fine Art’, and Grian Chatten collaboration ‘Better Way To Live.’ The new album comes with the intention of making a real introduction of KNEECAP’s world to fans with “pretty representative” sounds of their gigs, incorporating both mellow and chaotic melodics.
KNEECAP has recently been in headlines for leading the Irish bands boycott of SXSW as a protest against the showcase festival’s sponsorship from the US military. Talking about their debut album, rapper Mo Chara said, “This is the real introduction to KNEECAP. We’ve been touring for five or six years, we’ve got loads of music out, but this is our real debut, so we wanted it to be inherently KNEECAP. This is our world.”
Additionally, KNEECAP has announced their US tour in September, including performances in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Washington, Columbus and Chicago. Joining the lineup is Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville.
KNEECAP’s “Love Making” is now available online, and presale for their US tour tickets are now available on Ticket Master
