Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day have brought back their famous Beavis and Butt-Head characters for a second time. Their first appearance as the iconic duo was on a Saturday Night Live skit back in April of 2024. On Tuesday night of the same week, they showed up as Beavis and Butt-Head at the Hollywood Dolby Theatre during the premiere of Gosling’s new movie, The Fall Guy.
In the movie, Gosling stars as a stuntman who is working on the action film debut of his ex-girlfriend and finds himself involved in a conspiracy around the film’s lead star. The Fall Guy, which features Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu, is loosely based on the ’80s series of the same name.
Blunt, who also stars in the movie, had to field most of the press questions while Gosling sneaked off to get ready as Beavis, joined by the ex-SNL star and Is It Cake? host Mikey Day.
Gosling’s tearful rendition of Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ on SNL made headlines. The singer later responded to his performance of her song, gushing on social media, “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version) !!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour.
