Kendrick Lamar and Drake are locked in a feud with each other, and Kendrick has recently dropped a new diss track aimed squarely at Drake called “euphoria.” This is the latest development in an ongoing back-and-forth between the three biggest names in rap music, with Kendrick, J. Cole, and Drake taking shots at one another. Kendrick kicked off the beef last month with a verse on a Future and Metro Boomin track where he made it clear he wasn’t impressed with his fellow rappers: “Motherfuck the big three, n****, it’s just big me.” J. Cole responded with “7 Minute Drill,” criticizing Kendrick’s last album and accusing him of falling off.
Drake didn’t take Kendrick’s diss sitting down and released “Push Ups” followed by “Taylor Made Freestyle,” featuring an AI-generated version of Tupac’s voice calling out Kendrick for not responding to the original diss. However, that track was pulled after the Tupac Shakur estate issued a cease and desist. Now, Kendrick has fired back with “euphoria,” legitimately taking shots at Drake for being “cringeworthy” and a “habitual liar” obsessed with fame.
Kendrick’s new track is over six minutes long, with the most direct insults reserved for the final verse. Drake is accused of being “obsessed with celebrity” and “intimidated by successful women.” There has been no response from Drake yet, but the feud between the three rappers shows no signs of slowing down.
