Brian McCardie, star of Line Of Duty, has died suddenly at the age of 59, according to an announcement made by his sister on social media on April 30.

He also appeared in the recent BBC One three-part drama Time, with Stephen Graham and Sean Bean, and in the action thriller film Damaged, which was released earlier this month.
His representatives, United Agents, released a statement expressing shock and sadness at the news: “He was an actor of such great talent who we were lucky to represent, and our thoughts are very much with his family and friends at this difficult time.”

Sarah McCardie asked her followers to “remember Brian in your thoughts” and to respect the family’s privacy at this time
