Singer Lana Del Rey has teamed up with country music star Paul Cauthen to perform a cover of ‘Unchained Melody’ at Stagecoach Festival in California. The iconic song, originally released by The Righteous Brothers in 1965, closed Cauthen’s set. Del Rey revealed during the performance that she sang the track previously at Graceland: “He decided he wanted me to do a nice slow one to finish it off. I actually got to sing this song at Graceland and it’s so exciting.” Watch the performance here.

Notably, Del Rey headlined Coachella 2024, joined by guest stars including Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, Jack Antonoff, and Camila Cabello. During the festival, Del Rey performed a duet of ‘Video Games’ and ‘Ocean Eyes’ with Eilish and ‘Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have – But I Have It’ with Antonoff. She also performed ‘I Luv It’ with Cabello.

In a four-star review of Del Rey’s Coachella set, NME wrote, “Some festival-goers and critics have pointed to Del Rey as an “odd” choice of headliner – someone not exactly known for putting in energetic, flashy performances. Tonight, unswayed by those opinions, she sticks to what is true to her and instead focuses on something artful rather than gimmicky.”

Del Rey is set to headline Reading & Leeds 2024 alongside Liam Gallagher, Blink-182, Fred Again.., Gerry Cinnamon, and Catfish & The Bottlemen, from August 21-25. Tickets for the festival are currently on sale
