The Glastonbury Festival has announced the line-up for its 2024 West Holts stage ahead of this year’s event, revealing a range of new groups. Previously announced headliners for the stage included Jungle, Jessie Ware, and Justice, with acts like Danny Brown, Black Pumas, and Brittany Howard also set to perform. The latest announcements included new acts such as Nia Archives, 47soul, Alogte Oho and His Sounds of Joy, Balming Tiger, The Skatalites, Jalen Ngonda, and Matthew Halsall.
The line-up announcements come after Glastonbury shared its official 2024 line-up last month, featuring headliners such as Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA. Since then, the festival has been gradually announcing the artists set to play on each of its stages, with previous announcements including the Field of Avalon and Shangri-La areas, as well as the Acoustic and Nomad stages.
This year’s festival aims to be more diverse than ever before, including its first dedicated South Asian space in the new Arrivals stage. The event has seen the highest percentage of ticket balances paid ever, with a very limited number of tickets available in the re-sale, which began in April. The festival’s Emerging Talent Competition recently announced eight finalists who will perform at the event.
Despite ongoing uncertainty related to the global pandemic, festival organisers remain committed to ensuring a memorable, diverse, and entertaining event for attendees in 2024. Glastonbury has long been known for its eclectic mix of performers and unique atmosphere, attracting music fans from around the world. This year’s event is set to continue that tradition, making it a must-see event for anyone passionate about live music and unique festival experiences
