Orpheus Pledger, known for his role as Mason Morgan on the popular Australian soap Home and Away, has been apprehended by Australian police after a three-day manhunt. Pledger faces charges for allegedly assaulting a woman, of which he is now required to appear in court on May 10th. The 30-year-old actor was granted bail on April 22nd, but failed to appear in court the following day after he was ordered to undergo a medical assessment.

Pledger had also made brief appearances on other Australian shows, such as Neighbours in 2011, as well as other shows he participated in as a child star, including CrashBurn and Silversun. He appeared on the third season of SAS Australia: Who Dares Wins, but left the show amid concerns about his erratic behavior.

McMahon added that Pledger had been struggling with mental health issues in recent times, indicating that there may have been a factor contributing to his recent string of events.
