End of the Road festival has confirmed a range of new performers for its 2024 lineup, including Richard Hawley, Lambrini Girls, and Altın Gün. The event will run from August 29 to September 1 at the Larmer Tree Gardens site on the border of Dorset and Wiltshire. Previous confirmations of artists to perform at the festival include IDLES, Slowdive, and Fever Ray. Other artists added to the lineup include Sleater-Kinney, Yo La Tengo, Lankum, Jockstrap, CMAT, Nation Of Language, The Lemon Twigs, and Billy Woods. Laetitia Sadier, Still House Plants, Gustaf, Sextile, MSPAINT, Debmaster, SENYAWA, Chanel Beads, H31R, Plantoid, Anastacia Coope, The None, NiCKY, SOMOH, OTG, and Me Lost Me have also been added to the list of performers.
End of the Road co-founder Simon Taffe spoke about the 2024 edition and the significance of this year’s artist lineup, as it features many artists who released his favourite albums of 2023. “I’m also super excited that Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy is performing a very rare festival appearance – Will Oldham is one of the all-time greats. We have been inviting him to End of the Road since 2006, so we can’t wait!” exclaimed Taffe. In addition to Billy, other headliners such as Altın Gün and Richard Hawley will also be attending.
The 2023 edition of the event was a massive success, featuring performances from artists such as The Last Dinner Party, Be Your Own Pet, and Panda Bear of Animal Collective. It also included a secret set from indie superstars Wet Leg. NME gave the festival a five-star rating, calling it the “best fucking festival in the world.”
