Overmono release long-awaited The Streets’ edit,’Turn the Page’

The highly sought-after edit of The Streets’ 2002 single, “Turn the Page,” has been dropped by Overmono. The Welsh brothers debuted the rework during their headline set at Lost Village 2022, and it has since been the subject of popular track ID searches. Clips of the rework have been shared by fans online in anticipation of its official release. Truss and Tessela subsequently played at Boomtown and The Warehouse Project before featuring the track during their Boiler Room set in Manchester. Following a frenzied reaction from fans, the track has now been officially released on XL Recordings, along with a limited 12” black vinyl featuring The Streets’ lyrics “I’M FORTY FIFTH GENERATION ROMAN” etched on the B-side.

“Turn the Page” marks Overmono’s return to XL Recordings, following their Fred Again and Lil Yachty collaboration, “stayinit,” in January. The pair previously worked with Kwengface and Joy Orbison on “Freedom 2” in November, which was included on Mixmag’s 20 Best Dancefloor Bangers of 2023. Overmono has been gaining popularity as a top-tier electronic act, and their latest release only adds to their growing profile.
