White Lies to celebrate ‘Ritual’ and ‘BIG TV’ with intimate UK and European shows

British band White Lies has announced a series of intimate UK and European concerts in honour of their past two albums, Ritual and BIG TV. The shows will consist of two performances in each venue, one with a full rendition of Ritual and another with the entirety of BIG TV. The tour’s first dates will take place at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on June 17 and June 18. They will fly to Bruges, Belgium, and Manchester before returning to London for two shows at Lafayette from July 5 and 6. The shows are set to draw audiences from around the world.

These concerts mark a pivotal moment for White Lies following the 10 year anniversary milestone for both albums. In a statement posted onto the official White Lies Instagram account, the band expressed excitement about bringing their latest live shows to fruition. Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave and Jack Lawrence-Brown have been keen to step outside of their comfort zone and provide their audience with a unique, unforgettable experience. They acknowledged the challenges of playing these albums for the first time and plan on playing some songs for the first time live.

Their postponed concerts in Paris in light of Brexit legislation in 2022 drew attention to the band, heightening interest in the UK-based trio. White Lies have been no strangers to the music scene since their formation in 2007. Their latest album, As I Try Not To Fall Apart, was released in 2022, marking their continuing presence on the international music scene. The album title track and ‘Am I Really Going To Die’ have remained popular, along with ‘I Don’t Want To Go To Mars’ and ‘Blue Drift.’ The anticipated concert series should attract fans nationwide as this stellar band of artists work together to create an impressive experience that’s uniquely theirs
