Billie Eilish has spoken out about her Coachella duet with Lana Del Rey on her Instagram Stories. The pair performed two songs together during the ‘Born To Die’ singer’s headlining set. Eilish stated that their duet was “literally a hallucination”. She also credited Del Rey for the creation of her debut single ‘Ocean Eyes’, writing: “This song wouldn’t even exist without her”.

In response to Eilish stating that Del Rey was key to “half of you bitches’ existence, including mine”, the latter said to the young crowd that Eilish was “the voice of your generation”. Del Rey added: “I’m so fucking grateful that she’s standing next to me right now singing my favourite song of hers”.

Prior to Eilish’s surprise appearance, Del Rey brought out Jon Batiste to perform ‘Candy Necklace’ and invited Jack Antonoff onstage to play piano for ‘Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have – But I Have It’. Del Rey showed up early for her set, riding to the stage on the back of a motorbike.

Eilish has recently revealed the tracklist for her highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’. The album does not include other information including tracks’ length, credits, or if there will be any guest features.
