Electronic music group Faithless have announced their first live performance in eight years, which will take place at London’s Roundhouse. The performance marks the group’s first show since the passing of Maxi Jazz, one of the trio’s vocalists, in 2022. Faithless will also be performing in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam before heading to three major UK festivals, including Glastonbury and Bestival. The group has indicated plans for new music, but further details have not yet been announced.
Faithless’ last live show took place at London’s Brixton Academy on April 8 and was broadcast live in cinemas as a farewell to fans. The group originally split in 2011 after a 15-year career, culminating in their sixth album, ‘The Dance’.
Maxi Jazz was responsible for penning the iconic hit 1995 song ‘Insomnia’, and his absence has been felt deeply by the group. “Maxi died just over a year ago, and obviously we miss him every day,” Faithless wrote in a statement about the upcoming show.
The Roundhouse show will also coincide with the release of ‘All Blessed’, which was recorded and released during Maxi’s long illness. Faithless has promised more details about their upcoming new music in the near future. Tickets for the Roundhouse show will be available starting on Friday, February 26.

Faithless has also pledged their support to the music industry, saying that “letting venues and festivals collapse would be utterly appalling.” They are hoping that their new album and live shows will contribute to the healing of a wounded industry, and many fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to see the group perform live once again
