Rihanna has given music lovers an update on her upcoming new album, reassuring her fans that she has “already got stuff she could make hits out of”. During a launch party for her latest shoe line, the FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty Earth Tone in London, the Bajan singer also talked about clean fashion, motherhood and confirmed if her children would appear on any of her new music. “I mean, it’s up to them,” Rihanna said. “I already got stuff I feel like I could make hits out of. Me and A$AP Rocky are really trying to figure out who’s going to use what because it’s so good.”
Rihanna’s last album, ‘Anti’, was released in 2016, and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the follow-up. Earlier this month, the pop sensation shared that she has “a lot of visual ideas” in mind for her new album. Rihanna, with Live Nation, reported that she plans to release new music and go on tour ahead of the potential world tour in the next few years.
A$AP Rocky confirmed in February that Rihanna was still “working on” her ninth album. The R&B singer has teased her fans on social media platforms with snatches and glimpses of the new project whose release date has not been revealed to date. Rihanna has been busy with her other commitments, expanding her massively successful lingerie line “Savage x Fenty,” recently launching clothing collections under the same brand, all of which will put her music plans on hold for a significant time. In December, she teased, “… We already know what that’s gonna be with the songs that I’ve performed on my last tour. That was a long time ago. I feel like it’s only fair that my fans get what they’ve been waiting on, which is new music. After that, let’s just like, blow everything up.”
Rihanna thrills the globe with her unique voice and dance moves. Her footprint on the fashion world has been enormous, making her one of the most influential fashion icons in the world.
