Watch Tyler, The Creator respond to Jerrod Carmichael’s crush on him

The Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show premiered with a confession from Jerrod to his friend Tyler, The Creator, that he had a crush on him. Carmichael revealed that he had expressed his feelings to Tyler via text back in 2022, but Tyler did not reciprocate the feelings. Tyler recalled calling Carmichael a “stupid bitch,” and subsequently avoiding discussing the matter to prevent change from happening. Despite this awkward moment between friends, Carmichael still asked Tyler to be his date to the 2022 Emmy Awards, however Tyler declined a few days prior to the event.

At the end of the episode, Tyler admits that he still did not know how to respond to Carmichael’s confession. He also states that he saw Carmichael more as a family member, like a brother. The rapper recently addressed the rejection during his headlining set at Coachella last week.
