Kasra V, the Iran-born producer based in London, has launched V-Sion, a new imprint with its first release being a nine-track compilation record. The compilation album, named ‘10:10 Kasra V presents 10 years on NTS Radio’, celebrates Kasra V’s 10-year residency, doing shows that air on London radio station NTS Radio. The record is set to release on June 14. Being able to weave Kasra V’s musical tapestry through each track, the album features tracks from Spray, Sepehr, Kim Ann Foxman, Fantastic Man, and more, in addition to a joint track between Kasra V and Marie Malarie, named ‘Mariekas’.
‘Mariekas’ is available on V-Sion right now, with other tracks to follow during the upcoming months. The forthcoming record features unreleased tracks from esteemed NTS guests and Kasra V’s musical influences during the past decade. The record will come as a double LP in addition to being available digitally on June 14, 2024. Kasra shared on his Instagram account yesterday, “2024 marks 10 years since I started my NTS Radio residency. That’s 200+ shows. To celebrate this, I have curated a 9-song compilation titled ’10:10′ consisting of past guests. You can’t even imagine the excitement!”
The records that will be released in the upcoming months include tracks created by Angel D’lite, Byron Yeates & Brandi, Alex Kassian and Sepehr with more to come. The tracklist of the record includes “Neural filter” by Fantastic man, “Secret island” by Alex Kassian, “Double stunt” by Spray, “Archangel Waltz” by Sepehr, “Candy climax” by Angel D’lite, “Novena” by Byron Yeates & Brandi, “Qadak” by 500SEC, “Mariekas” by Kasra V & Marie Malarie and “We can do this” by Kim Ann Foxman.
